You may know this already .. that Arthur was first choice by R Waters and the Floyd to play the lead role in the wall film, Arthur moved to other projects while the money funds where delayed ....Arthur was also the first choice to front the BLOCKHEADS.. He was also responsible for burning down the stage in Montroux while guesting with Frank Zappa

Whoa, way better then the original version of this album that I had.  I had the old cassette from 1977 which I wore out.  This version really comes to life from 2:55-3:20 really adds a lot that the original didn't have (or at least didn't come out in the old recording on cassette).

Sorry, I may have read your comment out of context. I hadn't read all of the comments to the video and mistook that you might have been questioning the lyrics/content of the song. It's been a weird night. So many people (especially younger people) haven't heard of anything beyond Eminem, Nicki Minaj etc and haven't so much as picked up a book to even know who Poe is/was.

I had this album in my 700 plus collection..it was yellow Translucent vynil...I miss it!

I really don't understand people saying the remix is worse than the original... it's simply false. Just for the extra Ian Bairnson solo on this song the remixed album is worth buying...

I did not appreciate them remixing this. I love the old version and there are so many things that you want to hear that aren't there. Throughout the first side until after Dr Tarr and Prof. Fether there should be no narraration. I don't care what they do the the other side. The first 5 songs are sacred to me.
