Beautiful song. I've always been a big Alan Parsons Project fan. This song reminds me so much of my 91 year old dad who passed in 2017, and my 89 year old mom who passed in 2016. Just lost an older poet friend of mine in September. 98 years old, wonderful friend who I was honored to put my music to his poetry before he died. We just released it after he passed on the internet. He got to hear all the songs before he passed and I performed them for him at his care facility with his fellow residents watching, clapping for him, giving him credit for his poetry. A magical experience I will never forget.

Indeed, I've been blessed to know several of these old and wise people in my life, they helped me become a better person with their wisdom. Thanks for posting this beautiful song. Take care, Paul

25 years ago I nominated this song to be my good-bye song on my final day before the "final curtain falls before my eyes"

I remember listening to this song when I was youngish...was always an old soul. I though old age was so far away...now here it is. Someday is here. Martha you were a friend of mine and I'm glad I knew you once. P.S. picture is of my husband, I am a lady.

I love the scenery of the forest path, it reminds me of my youth when we trampled through the woods and explored the Spring River together. I still hold onto my link of the chain...
