Alan Jackson - Please, Daddy (Don't Get Drunk This Christmas) Lyrics
Please Daddy don't get drunk this Christmas
I don't want to see my Momma cry
Please Daddy don't get drunk this Christmas
I don't want to see my Momma cry
Now I'm almost eight, as you can see
You came home a quarter past eleven
And fell down underneath our Christmas tree
Please Daddy don't get drunk this Christmas
I don't want to see my Momma cry
Please Daddy don't get drunk this Christmas
I don't want to see my Momma cry
Mama smiled and looked outside the window
Then you laughed and hollared
"Merry Christmas"
I turned around and saw my Momma's tears
Please Daddy don't get drunk this Christmas
I don't want to see my Momma cry
Please Daddy don't get drunk this Christmas
I don't want to see my Momma cry
Please Daddy don't get drunk this Christmas
I don't want to see my Momma cry
Please Daddy don't get drunk this Christmas
I don't want to see my Momma cry
No,I don't want to see my Momma cry

fucking hillbillies smh
Love this song my son says this to his step dad telling not to get drunk at christmas time bc he dont want to see his mama cry at christmas time lol
disgusting!
What a depressing song. :-/
I agree. I'm 54, never heard of this song before but i play "song pop" on Facebook, and this came up. I thought it MUST be a parody or funny song, so i searched it on YouTube. What a depressing song, no kid should have to have Christmas like that. I barely listened to half of it, it sucks, and i know many people that drink, i used to myself in my youth, but if you can't be sober or at least functional on a couple days of the year for your kids, they don't deserve to be a parent
Every time you get drunk you screw up
“yeah you daddy”
Pls baby pls pls, I love you dl
