I don't think religion is the cause of all war. People constantly make the mistake of conflating the two. If you get rid of religion or atheism, evil would still exist. Human nature in itself is to blame. You can take the man out of violence, but you can't take the violence out of the man. It's a good song. Yet, it's almost like they are promoting the genocide of all religious people, while using the past genocides from history as an excuse to do it. The idea that absence of religion will bring peace is ironic, because you would have to either kill everyone that is religious or take away people's free will to choose in order to achieve it. That ends bad in both ways.

Alex Untold Man I discovered them in 2005. I feel so old lol. They've been one of my favorite bands for years besides AFI. By the way check out AFI if you haven't. Ive been a fan of AFI since i was 7. They've been around for so long. Aiden has been influenced by AFI. I recommend checking out Black Sails In The Sunset, The Art Of Drowning, and Sing The Sorrow by AFI. Those are my favorite albums by them.

These things exist in every social structure from the local community level all the way up to the United Nations. This song is good however it seems a bit cliche to me. To the people who say this is disturbing its not. Imagery like this in modern music was old when Marilyn Manson did it 20 years ago. I agree with you. This is one of the bands I grew up with, they were my safe place for the longest time, but the messages in some of their songs are just plain misleading, and ultimately detrimental.
