Acacia Strain, The - Human Disaster Lyrics
Rest in piss
Clutch your heart
Breathe in dirt
Rest in piss
Enough food for the rats to feast
Rest in piss
You tainted the water
The world would treat you like a martyr
Fucking waste of time
You deserve to die
Liars lie
No chance to say goodbye
No fingerprints, no face
Gone without a trace
Their air is refreshing
Pulling out your intestines
Lips on the dirt
Blessed by the worm
Swallow your teeth
Drown in your tears
Lose yourself in sleep
Surrender to your fears
Nowhere to run
Nowhere to hide
Glad you died happy
Happy you died
Rest in piss
Last gasps from a shallow grave
Soak up the dirt pushing up daisies
Last gasps from a shallow grave
Soak up the dirt pushing up daisies

I told some girl I was talking to that she needed to look this song up because it reminded me of her..dating site trolling is the future
the first Acacia strain song I ever heard was carbomb and that song is possibly the heaviest minute that will make you want to rip someone's face off, wear it as a skin mask while you gnaw on a sun-dried cat fetus... BRUTAL

Aleister Crowley - The Poet.
Thank you.

+Alex Zapata metalcore
+Alex Zapata metalcore
+Alex Zapata metalcore
Possibly downtempo
Doom with a mix of deathcore.
If you're not into this band, see them live. That'll change you're mind completely.
+jaime Peck I don't listen to them much but oh man. I saw them live for summer slaughter. I definitely would say the crowd went the craziest when these guys played and keep in mind. Born of Osirs and Veil of Maya were also there too. So yea, that shit was good.
Walls Makeitstop they blew the speakers on the warped tour stage
I wonder if Vincent is so filled with hate because he reads the comments on Acacia Strain videos.
We are headed for a human disaster. Escape the animal realm with me. Google
T̲̅H̲̅E̲̅ ̲̅T̲̅R̲̅U̲̅T̲̅H̲̅ ̲̅C̲̅O̲̅N̲̅T̲̅E̲̅S̲̅T̲̅ and read the entry "The Present"
holy fuck.
1:37-2:00... Sounds EXACTLY like sleeping with sirens
Not at all. Sleeping With Sirens is 10x as heavy as this.
damn i was gunna say the same thing but i didnt want to seem like i was fanboying over them but at least we both see it tho
@Axel ! You're joking rite? Heavier? You saying better would be an opinion, but heavier?!?!?
Ofc I'm joking.
lmfao. he honestly thinks that we are serious
Their new shit reminds me of BMTH
Saw this song live on Saturday, like... Dude, words can't describe how hectic it got.
@Brad Kraus i want to :(
@Manocean why can't ya man?
@Brad Kraus because i died
@Manocean me too. aren't we all dead?
@Brad Kraus "Buried alive in a grave called life"
3rd - Coma Witch
2nd - Continent
1st - DITOM
The truest comment ever found on a TAS video
I'm in love
I get why all these comments bring so much cancer.
It's because TAS wants you all to die.
Crowley's words at the beginning are actual, literary work. If you're going to make a song insulting a historical figure, at least have the intellectual fortitude to back it up. These lyrics read like a 14 year old's facebook rant.
This song gave me chills.
That's something no other and on Rise Records has been able to do.
Everything sucks now.
But this--
I love it.
Wormwood is their best album
2:47 SO GROOVYYYYYY
I don't need to understand what it's saying (even if I wanted to pay attention to it it's almost impossible to understand something) to say that this is a fucking shit. With all the words. I'm starting to think that all the Deathcore bands are like this, toxics. Sorry if I am too rude but it's really what I think...
Bury me in a nameless grave
I came from God the world to save
I brought them wisdom from above
Worship, and liberty, and love
They slew me, for I did disparage
Therefore, religion, law, and marriage
So be my grave without a name
That Earth may swallow up my shame...

Rest in piss indeed.
@Travis The Chimp Thank you I had trouble making out most of it.
The intro sample was used in the end of Abigail Williams's Conqueror Wyrm on the Legend EP. I love how I'm not the only one who remembers it from Abigail Williams. Though I never thought I'd hear again. Anyone know where that sample came from?
@acaciapel His comment says he loves how he's NOT the only one. Try again.
its one of the only existing recordings of aliester crowleys voice. and a badass way to start an album
+Amelia Noreau True it is cool, but it is also kind of lame since it has already been used before by another band.
NO GOODBYE, NO FAREWELL;
REST. IN. PIIIIISSSSSSSS
Swagu or maybe hes taken his perspective of life and put it into song as so. The way a person sees themself is never the way everyone else sees them.
That beginning was worth the minute long intro
FUN FACT! The eerie sound effect at the very start of the song is also used in Delusionalisphere
@JFord. Animation It's also used in 'Observer'. I think it is supposed to be a siren from an ambulance or something because this album has car crash themes. Observer is about a car crash and being put in a coma I believe.
I like this but I think the next album should change up a bit
I really like this band and all but seriously, these guys are the AC/DC of deathcore. They haven't done an innovative thing for four fucking albums
I like the strong continent-approach of this album (which was their best release IMO). Definitely more hardcore-orientated, and stepping a bit away from the senseless 8 string madness. Nevertheless, the drum production on this album is awful and doesn't fit to their sound at all.
/.Crowley.\ now 4 years later.. I have been in the shits of below the years before. Destroyed, broken bones in the way of the day before and the day after but literally. Do not underestimate others abilities to screw you, we only have dignity being true and that’s knowledge that is the bent sword, I hate seeing how blood has come to the table with the retrospective negative wall war for control of the Mexican/ US border, I’ve never seen it, just hope families are not slain in any conflict. I shut the tv off, someone say it’s over lmao truly though.
I like the sludge metal influence
My album of the year.. I can't wait to see them
You regained an old fan with this one
2:47 and on is just dope
The thing i love about TAS is even though each new album is pretty similar to their last, each one has its own feel and always delivers. I've never been disappointed by them
Zoz Kia Cultus intro?? haha
Fucking Abigail Williams intro, still sick nonetheless
13 years and still the same riffs, even with DL finally leaving and getting 2 new guitarists. i like how vincent is the only original member now. lol
Then why doesn't he play guitar still. And i took that picture before selfie was a word. Also I'm not black if you didn't notice. Thanks for the input though
Sorry Sean and erratic interviews. I'll leave you guys and you're incomparable knowledge of who's who alone. You've got some serious work ahead of you hear on the fucking YOUTUBE COMMENT SECTION!! Ass wads. Donkey kicking either of you if I ever did you (hahaha see how well I play along?)
@Daniel Pfister Lol, so you resort to an irrelevant response that has nothing to do with the topic. Very creative.
Woe breakdowns these guys are so cool man this music has run its course and the acacia strain are milking it.. This is coming from someone who was a fan when their debut album came out
This band can't even write a proper fucking song it's the same shitty breakdown every time I'm getting sick of it
@Brendon stacey Putting words in your mouth the same way Northlane is shoving jizz in it lmao
@Nick Seul singularity doesn't contain "polyrhythms" and every band with "core" attached to their genre uses "low growls"
@Brendon stacey It was a joke. I was making fun of the "core" genre. I barely listen to anything out of this genre anymore. Little interests me and original bands are too few and far between.
@Nick Seul fair enough
Awful band. 100% agree with you
Utter rise garbage
Typical YouTube comment garbage.
@xxhardforcorexx Yeah like, xDDDDD dude!
@bmhyakiri https://i.warosu.org/data/fa/img/0087/70/1410172453625.jpg
@iam_rehab That was my exact thought when I read your three comments.
@david Ferraro... maybe you should uhm... rest in piss?
pro tip: if you tune your guitar that low it stops being a guitar and becomes a bass guitar. tune that shit up geez
I fucking LOVE this song. If this album was just the first few minutes of this song repeated over and over...well, that would get a little old, I guess...but it's definitely my favorite off this album. The rest of it is...a mixture of good to "meeh". I like some of the songs more than others, but a lot of it is just filler. A lot of the songs sound pretty similar, or are VERY similar in structure. And that 20 minute "EPIC" song at the end is not at ALL epic. It's just a very slow paced collection of riffs, and is chock-full of samples, with no real music over it. That's the only one that I skipped on. Overall, it's worth jamming out to, for me anyway. It's not for every Acacia Strain fan, and I can understand why, it leans towards the newer TAS sound. I'll leave it at that, take it for what it's worth.
you can tune lower than that! come on guys!
what was the outro song???
for the fallen dreams - bombay
usually open minded when it comes to band member changes but this whole album is kinda just "meh.." now that DL is gone
I honestly like Moths to Flames a little bit better, but damn this is epic, too :D
lmao was that a joke
Rest in piss, no pls no.
Wignorant. I like.
Sounds like more Acacia Strain.
lol skynet in the beginning?
Still so bland.
HOLY SHIT THAT INTRO :O !!!!
Rest in piss! Brotha lynch classic
nothing will ever top the dead walk
dos amen
Love that album but I think they peaked with Continent. To each his own!
lmfao well masey i second that my good friend lmao. Fancy running into you here!
Wormwood tho.
i personally think this album feels like a mix of the dead walk and wormwood
Nice music, but I hate the production ): so I can't listen to it without noticing it every second...
They never disappoint!
Vocals wayy too loud, guitars have no power at all.. :( what a bummer because the songwriting kicks so much ass as always
As low as the guitar is, there's really nothing you can do. So much headroom gets eaten up just because of that subharmonic bass. If they'd tune up a bit from octave F# (kidding) it'd probably sound a lot better.
@12ealDeal Yes it might be really hard to make it fit in the mix, but listen to their previous 2 albums (Death is the Only Mortal, Wormwood). The guitar sound is much more present there and with more low end. Well maybe i could say in this release it sounds like there is no Bass Guitar at all... It makes it sound kinda empty
@12ealDeal Well is this song in Drop F#? Cause if it is, Meshuggah tunes to F# standard. and the low string always has great clarity. the dudes over at Black Tongue I think tune at an octave below regular Drop D(so like a double Drop D if you will) And also you can hear it clearly in the mix while still having the bass still be prominent. I think it just has to do with the audio production. I dunno I feel maybe the audio engineer didn't do enough to make the low end on the guitars tight enough and cut enough low frequencies out to let the bass cut through.
@lugoe98 yeah man i think the same..
Acacia Strain tunes to Drop F, Meshuggah is F standard
mfw same sample fro Abigail Williams back in 2007
so many feelings
dug that outta the feelsvault man
I must be the only one who honestly thought DITOM was a POS album. I love this band, but I just gotta be honest, it was horrible from start to finish, especially the way it was recorded. It didn't by any means live up to the 2 albums before it. Now, THIS on the other hand is the album that THAT album should have been, and that other shit shouldn't have ever been recorded.
i actually still dig DITOM. it has a whole different tone, like wormwood taken a step further. and that dirty, buzzy production i loved haha. each to their own i guess, but i do agree that this shit is badass
or was it the actual songwriting that you hated?
I dunno, maybe if it were recorded differently, without that horrible distortion, I might have grown to like it. It has too much reverb or something, just sounds muddy like listening through blown speakers.
Honestly, I feel the same way about DITOM and Above/Below, and the same with this album. The production seems...off. The snare especially. Holy shit. The snare was punchy and chunk on wormwood. Ever since Servant in the Place of Truth, i feel like they've just lost their punch instrumentally and production wise. Lyrically though? Still heavy and ballsy as fuck. It'll grow on me eventually. Just not now.
Mother. Of. God.
This album has elements from Continent, Wormwood, and DITOM. They've done it. *tears rolling down during slow clap*
What's the beginning part from?
The Poet by Aleister Crowley
@ReturnofTheFreetrail um....
@ReturnofTheFreetrail Nice try, it's not like what you said is bad lol
It's Aleister Crowley - The Poet form The Great Beast Speaks
Darude - Sandstorm
REST IN PISS!!!
A song to nod slowly with an evil grin...juuust what I waited for...
THIS is the Acacia Strain i love fucking crazy shit man
I love Wormwood and DITOM for different reasons, but this seems like a much better successor to Continent. It just fucking slays.
These motherfuckers know how to kick off a record GOT DAMMMM.
Yes. This sounds great.
