@Tomversal Thank you bro- the Youngs want us to believe the author of Have a Drink on Me and Whiskey on the Rocks was the same - that's what steams me. They did pay the Scott's but behind the scenes

@Anthony Fazio and when he died the notebooks he was writing in were confiscated by the band. if you think the guy who wrote Have a Drink on me is the same guy who wrote Whiskey on the Rocks you are delusional

@Anthony Fazio You're wrong, the Young Bros have said that Bon was putting lyrics to the songs that ended up on Back In Black, he never got to put vocals on them since he died before they went in the studio but Bon influenced BIB.

Bon wrote exactly ZERO lyrics to BIB, nor especially FTATR. I mean, Back In Black itself is an ode to their DEAD singer. "Back (after the death of their frontman) In Black (in mourning, black clothes). Why the fuck would Bon write a death anthem to himself? Hells Bells (the intro are FUNERAL bells). The lyrics on the rest of the album are distinctly Brian, very different phrasing and thematically abstract in comparison. Stop mythologizing Bon already, because you're doing him and the band a great disservice. Meantime, I think we can all agree lyrics penned by Young & Young exclusively ushered in the era of a drastically less clever AC/DC.

His voice started to decline from the moment he started to sing in AC/DC.

@Akronys well technically he sang differently when he joined AC/DC

@Barano No doubt. But, voice did sound pretty good on Black Ice & Rock or Bust.

Frank Viverito I love thunder struck but the vocals sound painful in a good but in a good way.

With Geordie he had a little rasp but mostly clean, for ACDC he tried to impress them by having a lot of roughness, they liked it so he maintained it for the first 2 albums, and mostly on his 3rd but it's clear after that his voice declined

Luckily after Stiff Upper Lip he went back to not having much rasp and now he sounds awesome again just cleaner
