saw them in Portland opening for Garbage. One of the LOUDEST opening acts I've ever heard. Fucking rocked! Later that week they were supposed to be on Jay Leno. Watched the show, some sort of band drama must have occurred because the show aborted the band. very disappointed and still remember it clearly. I was mesmerized by their show, they are a fucking awesome band. wtf happend!?

Favorite album of all time. Tommy Walter is such an underrated musician.

Wow, I haven't heard this in over 15 years!!! I remember this easily being the best track on the album.

it makes my heart break to see how criminally underrated tommy walter's brilliance is. this album is almost spotless and one of the greatest pieces of alternative rock I have ever heard

The "band" only shows up in the studio/on the road to perform live renditions. In short, Abandoned Pools is one guy, by the name of Tommy Walter.

I remember listening to these guys in middle school.. Now im 25, and still listening to this.. how many memories it brings back, is just insanely refreshing.. how i wish i could go back in time to listen to it again..

I love this band so much. In fact, I'm actually THRILLED that they never went mainstream, because the radio woulda tarnished them just like they do every other band.

How this album found me in small town Arkansas 9 years ago I'll never know. But I'm glad it did. This is easily one of the most underrated albums ever made.
