Guys read the lyrics, it’s clearly talking about Reprise, their music label. It’s the last album with them. The contract probably says that they have to make songs that are “mainstream” or some shit like that. “Father of all motherfuckers” read between the lines, this ain’t the real Green Day, there is still hope.

I don't know people, this looks like a paradox, think about it just a minute, this last three songs are kind of rock pop glam and have a real particulatiry, /1/- This will not be liked by people who really fills the pop listeners because they are influencers/millennials, some of them hollow people (for the moment i expect) that won't like the song because the lyrics are indirectely insulting them and they will feel "cringy" and they would be "literally insulting themselves" in part of them at least, because this lyrics it's a direct critique to theirs behaviour in a genealized angle and /2/- People that follows them for the punk rock are not gonna like it eather because of the instrumental of it, that is not really the rock we are used to, i personally think that this song is a really interesting experiment and sounds good, not too cheesy, not fake at all, not frivolous like the mayority of pop mainstream songs, I personally don't have any problem if they change, it caught my attention what kind of hybrid re-addaptable public this song and new album could catch with it's sound vs. lyrics that seem opposite poles and i know Billie won't kill himself because some don't like he's music, so, utterly fascinating, hah.
