This song hit real real deep. Like wow. Talk about some mirror medicine. Simply stated and simply true. The part about a hidden love will be left only in the darkness. A bitter truth. It’s best to not breadcrumb or to be breadcrumbed. I realize the man I’ve loved for 3 years - an ex- who won’t show any interest in a relationship but one that’s quiet, hidden, behind closed doors, and only wants me in bed. How can someone take advantage of the fact someone tells you they love you and that your serious- yet they play with your heart and intelligence as if it’s a game they are unaware of?..
