I tried a suicide attempt and I was left in the hospital. After getting out I had many appointments to explain my reasons to my suicide attempt. The police, my psychiatric and some hospitals appointments. I was scared. But whenever I heard an 8 Graves song I felt a little calmer and less scared. I have all your song and no matter which one I listened they each helped me a lot. The lyrics are so beautiful and how do I say.... I can relate to them all of them and the things I couldn't say or explain your lyrics said it for me. It's been one year since my suicide attempt and these songs are still as breathtaking as they were back then.

@Charly That's okay. ^^ Remember that you count as people, but as an individual. Sometimes you have to let go of what you cherish the most in order to survive. If there is anything I learned in life, it is that the hardest choice is usually the best path to pick. For me, I deleted all my social media accounts (Facebook since middle school is one of those) and purged all my contacts and everyone I was friends with. I did this just recently so it's all still fresh in my mind.


A way to let go of all that I cared about and was hurting me in order to force myself to move on and focus on me. Because of that I don't see much value in friendships anymore. I became aromantic (lack of interest in romantic relationship) and lack compassion or trust towards others, but that's okay.


I have met new people. I doubt any of my friendships will be meaningful or matter much in the end, but so far I know two that actually care about me. I'm at my worst right now and they're putting up with me and showing interest in my life and actually being there when everyone else was not.


It took me 13+ years of struggling to survive through abandonment and betrayal between loved ones, close friendships and family relationships and this is how far I have gotten. Not much progress, but still, I continue to do my best to not let the darkness take over my heart.


I may not have much faith in humanity or people in general, but the two that I know now that are being there for me have done more for me than anyone has done for me 20+ years later than anyone else has done.


It took me more than 20 years of my life to find something that I can truly care about through all of that I lost. I don't believe that life gets better, but I do believe we can find a way to deal with it and cope.


What I'm saying is that it can take a while. Sometimes more than a decade. Be patient and do your best to not give up and let yourself be overcome by hate. Trust me, I used to be at that point where I was aggressive to everyone.There is no life to live if you're dead inside, because when you feel dead then you're not really living.


You are strong and have a caring heart. Not many will take notice of that because a lot of people these days are selfish and focus on themselves, but I'm certain one day you will find someone that truly cares about you. I always believed I wouldn't. Who knows? I might be wrong. I fought for over 20 years, even with suicide attempts, so I'm sure you can do the same. ^-^

You are a true hero for me now. I don’t think I could handle what you passed through, you’re strong.
I know people are never gonna be happy around me cuz I always act “weird and pessimistic”, but it’s okay, I don’t need them around me, I want to ease their lives but I don’t want them to ease mine.
I am obviously younger than you, and I need to say thank you, because I guess you’re like 20-30 years old (maybe even 40 haha) and there’s not many people that would care about an adolescent life like you do. Every single person just said “it’s your youth problems, it will pass, just stay happy” but that’s not how I see it, I don’t see it as a problem that will pass with “two happy things to do in a day”. I really think that my physical and mental issues will not fix, or then it will take years and years of reconstruction. I don’t trust anyone, even my family, I don’t like myself, I harmed myself, I thought really hard about suicide, I don’t feel anything good anymore, and now I’m there thinking about “what should I do with my life ?”. I seriously don’t know what to do with it, I’ve always been like “f*uck it, just let it go and see what comes” but that’s not the good way. I need to move myself and react against life, or it’ll overpass me and I’ll do some sh*t again.
Anyways, thank you very very much for helping me.

Ergo: Mental health vs physical health. One they can see and therefore pin a reaction on it based on how they feel with the experience, but mental health it is different because it is not a visible thing.

But, yeah! If you do ever want to talk or have someone to vent to I'm here. I can't say I'll be of much help, but I don't mind lending an ear. ^^
