I personally like this song. Tony does not because in his opinion the band uses the same material over and over again. I don't know that, I just know this song and I like it. If he's right then it is a bit lame of them. So he said this music is for simple people (like you) who will like their music over and over again even though it's basically the same all the time. Then you're argument was even though he dislikes it, he still came to watch the video. This argument is pure bullshit. How the fuck would he have known if he likes the song before even watching the video?! To come up with solutions, you have to criticise things. Moody Owl who’s acting like it’s not a common thing? The majority of bands that exist or have ever existed are not very good.
I love goth rock/ death rock/punk and industrial. I love many other styles of music as well but I def have a special thing for this stuff. I’ve been into it since around 86. My first show was the Cramps who although are kitschy and camp/horro I wouldn’t call em’ goth. At any rate, the words are very simple BUT extremely clever and always surprising.
I saw my first proper vampire stalk the stage when I saw the Damned at the IBeam in SF. I think it was 88?89?
The lyrics from every era of the band are SO amazing. From the garage punk of 77 to the dancy goth of the mid 80’s and the Psychedelic stuff scattered throughout, the words are just tops.
I like a handful of other bands. Bauhaus, Danzig and bunch of smaller groups I’ve played with over the years. There’s also a few I’ll keep close to my vest. The point is, I don’t like bands just because they play goth or death rock.
Christian Death is great. Type O Negative and 69 Eyes are embarrassing. “69 dude!!”
I tend to like a band far less if they do a style I am into but are cheesy and blow it.

U clearly dont know what your saying. Maybe turn on shit radio and you'll here some pop. Hell, In Flames is on there regularly. Blessed Be, Paris Kills and Back In Blood are my favorites.
