5th Dimension, The - All Kinds Of People Lyrics

Tall kind of people
Should be together
With small kind of people
Should get together
And talk to each other

All kinds of people
Should reach out
And help one another

Old kind of people
Should try to listen
To young kind of people
Should try to listen
And comfort each other

All kinds of people
Should reach out
And help one another

Light kind of people
Should feel compassion
For dark kind of people
Should feel compassion
And care for each other

All kinds of people
Should reach out
And help one another

  1. D.... H....

This song sounds like a gospel song which was probably played on the gospel music stations

  2. D.... H....

This version should have been released as a single

  3. D.... H....

This song sounds more like a gospel song

One of the better versions...the original performance however, performed by Bacharach himself, is the best.

  5. E.... ....

A true hidden gem! Nothing like a collaboration of The Fifth Dimension and Bacharach/David.

Thanks for putting this up. It's been running all through my mind and I only heard a few times in the 60s, so this is a gift. It mean so much. We gotta reach out and help one another and quit shootin' one another. I know there's a reason I wanted to hear this one.

Great song, Thanks for the up load.

Yes, Florence has a very good voice, too. If you watch the YT clip of the group doing Up, Up & Away/California My Way, you'll hear more of Florence (2nd song). I saw Florence & the current group this past Thursday (Aug 22 2013) and she still sounds great, powerful & soulful. Toward the end of One Less Bell to Answer, Florence was quite emotional and even cried a few tears, so she was really feeling the song.

Incredibly amazing lead vocal from Florence LaRue. Marilyn McCoo was brilliant and possessed a more commercial timbre to her voice but, after hearing this, I can't help thinking that LaRue should have done a few more leads.
