Saw them live and they played this, everyone lost their shit and were going wild. They sound even better live then in the studio.

Andrew Ross I got to see these guys back for their transistor and soundsystem tour. They are as good now as they were then. Love this band!

@crazyfo00 Only if your a girl. Five Finger Death Punch is for really heavy men. There first album and they are great live. The second album was kindoff soft.. Three Days Grace's first 2 albums were awesome and the new one is ok. Don't know how you can't like them though. They aren't washed up like 311 though. I mean 311's debut will always be there best.

@cloudmusic01 Same here my first show of theirs was in 93 on Maui. I think I have seen them at least ten times since. They are all about their shows and fans you can feel it's genuine.

@slappntickle agree!! I have been going to shows for almost 20 years and one of the best live shows I've been to. You know they are there for the fans too, their set was like over 2 hours.

I"m 19, been listening to 311 since i was 6. Fuckin favorite band and always will be. Grassroots, Music, 311, Soundsystem are my favorite albums. Thats just a quick background. Now people don't say a word about this song until you've listened to it cranked up on nice speakers looking at a cool view. I toke and the first time i heard this i wasn't baked and i felt like it. fuckin amazing. After listened to it baked and holy shit its so good

Okay, There will NEVER be another Grassroots, EVER. Lets just get that straight. I also agree, Uplifter isn't that good of an album and we are all entitled to our own opinions. A couple songs off this album are good but its not that great. Evolver is probably the last good album they did. When From Chaos came out, you could tell they started going down that road of ummm, maturity? Call it what you will, They are almost 40 now!!!!!!!

Uplifter would of made a good instrumental album. Nick Hexum's lyrics are just so horrible.

I personally agree with you. Nick to me makes a better front man but I'd have to say that they are very even on rapping styles. I can't pick between them. But honestly after hearing this album I think SA blows Nick out of the water when it comes to singing. Golden Sunlight is a prime example of what I mean.

i agree. first time i heard this i was like "ok this is another SA song..." but I guess that's what makes it good, because it's what you least expect, just a good song to vibe to.
